Hiperplastik polibe bağlı ince barsak invajinasyonu

Öz

Hiperplastik polip en sık görülen non-neoplastik polip tipidir. Hiperplastik poliplerin çoğu asemptomatik olup endoskopide rastlantısal olarak saptanır. İnce barsak invajinasyonuna sıklıkla çocuklarda görülür. Erişkinlerde ince barsak invajinasyonu %5 oranında görülmekle birlikte bunların %80-90'ında altta yatan barsak patolojisi eşlik etmektedir. Bu yazıda erişkin hastada aralıklı karın ağrısı, kilo kaybı ve rektal kanamaya yol açan ince barsakta çok sayıda hiperplastik polibin neden olduğu ince barsak invajinasyon vakası sunulmuştur.

Small bowel invaginations due to hyperplastic polyps

Öz

Hyperplastic polyps are the most common type of gastrointestinal tract polyps. Invagination is a rare cause of mechanical intestinal obstruction in adults. A diagnosis of invagination in an adult patient strongly suggests the presence of a pathology. Hyperplastic polyps are benign lesions in various parts of the gastrointestinal tract. Intussusception due to hyperplastic polyps is uncommon. We report multiple hyperplastic polyps of the small bowel that presented as intussusception in a 28-year-old woman.
