Kumadine bağlı olarak gelişen intramural özofagus hematomu: Olgu sunumu

Öz

İntramural özofagus hematomu, özofagusun nadir görülen hastalıklarından birisidir. Odinofaji veya disfaji ile birlikte hematemez görülmesi tipiktir ancak her vakada görülmez. Semptomlar bazen nonspesifiktir. Genellikle özofagogastroskopi ve tomografi ile tanı konulur. Bu çalışmada, kumadine bağlı olarak intramural özofagus hematomu gelişen ve konservatif tedavi ile düzelen 63 yaşında bir erkek hasta sunularak bu konudaki literatür gözden geçirilmiştir.

İntramural esophageal hematoma related to coumadin: Case report

Öz

Intramural esophageal hematoma is a rare form of esophageal disease. The typical features, chest pain with odynophagia or dysphagia and hematemesis, are usually present but not always elicited at presentation. Sometimes the presenting symptoms are nonspecific. Esophagogastroscopy and computed tomography scan are usually needed to establish the diagnosis of intramural esophageal hematoma. In this study, we report the case of a 63-year-old man who developed an intramural esophageal hematoma related with coumadin and who was successfully treated with conservative measures, and we review the available literature.
