Turistler Açısından Sürdürülebilir Bir Destinasyondan Beklentilerin Belirlenmesi

Öz

Sürdürülebilirlik hem destinasyonlar hem de turistler açısından giderek önem kazanmaya başlamış bir kavram olarak ortaya çıkmaktadır. sürdürülebilir bir destinasyondan turist beklentilerinin ortaya çıkarılması, destinasyon yöneticilerinin pazarlama çabalarında katkı sağlaması açısından önem arz etmektedir. Bu bağlamda çalışmada turistlerin sürdürülebilir bir destinasyondan beklentilerinin ortaya konması amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışmada, nicel araştırma yöntemi kullanılarak desenleme yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın evrenini, herhangi bir turizm türüyle ilgilenen turistler oluşturmaktadır. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın örnekleme yöntemi, kartopu ve maksimum örnekleme stratejisi olarak belirlenerek 627 katılımcıya çevrimiçi anket uygulama yöntemiyle ulaşılmaktadır. Çalışmadan elde edilen veriler, T-Testi ve Anova analizleri aracılığıyla analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda kadın turistler, erkek turistlere göre sürdürülebilir destinasyon beklentilerinde anlamlı farklılık ortaya koymaktadır. Yerel halkla iletişime geçmek, ekonomik değerlerin yerel halka yayılması ve destinasyonun çevresel zenginliklerinin korunması bağlamında konaklama eğilimi önem arz etmektedir.
