Ontology of art studying the ontic structure and layers of a work of art is the ontology of the material and immaterial world. The way to interpret a work of art, which is an aesthetic structure, leads us to the phenomenon of beauty and aesthetic values. A work of art is the carrier of beautiful, aesthetic value, and it is only seen through the analysis of in terms of the mode of existence of the work of art. Ontology of art pivots the analysis around the work of art as an existent being. In this way, the work is evaluated in every aspect for each of its layers of being to be expounded and forthe text to be more comprehensible. In this aspect, İsmail Tunalı’s book "Ontology of Art," where he develops Nikolai Hartmann and Roman Ingarden’s opinions and contributes to the analysis of literary texts, is an important source. In our study, this work will be prioritized, and A. Kadir’s poem "Bir Kayısı Ağacı" will be analyzed through ontological analysis, which is a robust method in the analysis of literary texts. In the poem, where a narrative style is dominant, a small family’s pain of existence in the background of their poor life will be addressed.
