The Lover On The Door / Way Of Love According To Hoca Ahmed Yesevi’s Wisdom
Öz
Hoca Ahmed Yesevi, the master of the lovers actually summarizes life in his verses. His greatest fear is that human beings would find the world innocent and walks into its traps. Eventually, body and soul will be submitted to their Owner, as they are delivered. The Day of Judgment is both a warning and felicity for every person.
In his verses, which are springs of wisdom for us, Yesevi refers to pedantic ignorant as the loser of both worlds. They are idiots who have no share in love and the love of god. These inattentive people who have not tasted spiritual joys of worshipping do not have a genuine share in either worlds.
Is there a better destination than the Lord of all worlds who is the Evetlasting, the Ever-Living and the Last? The goal of all the lovers of the past and today is vision of the Divine. Is there a greater happiness than being delighted as such? The eternal happiness is for those who are granted such a favor.
