This article discusses the process of individualization of labor in global cities within the framework of Covid-19. To this end, the study examines the effects of Information Technology, which forms the basis of network society, on the transformation of work and employment in Manuel Castells ' work “The Rise of Network Society” and the study focuses on the process of "individualization of labor" conceptualized by Castells by examining the position of labor in the global flow. At the beginning of the places where this process is more felt are global cities. The individualization of labor in global cities is not a new process. However, appears to have become more pronounced with the Covid-19 pandemic, which began in China in December in 2019 and affected the entire world. Today, the epidemic has become a global economic crisis beyond a health crisis on the global axis. The effects of this crisis are felt on labor as in every field. This study aims to make a contribution to understand the situation of labor in the Covid-19 process. In the study, the process of individualization of labor is considered as a defining factor, based on Castells and the study examines the dual structure of labor by including the basic characteristics of global cities. Finally, the effect of Covid-19 on the individualization of labor in global cities is tried to be determined. Is seen that Covid-19 deepens the division and localization in labor in global cities and contributes to the individualization of labor.
