Prematür Ejakülasyon Şikâyeti ile Başvuran Hastalarda Erektil Disfonksiyon Görülme Sıklığı

Öz

Prematür ejakülasyon PE erkeklerde en sık görülen seksüel fonksiyon bozukluğu olup diyabet, tiroid hastalıkları, prostatit ve erektil disfonksiyon ED gibi komorbid durumlarla yakından ilişkilidir. Buna rağmen PE ile ED arasındaki ilişki arasında tartışma söz konusudur ve bu iki patolojinin ne sıklıkla birlikte bulunduğu ile ilgili az sayıda veri mevcuttur. Bu çalışma prematür ejakülasyonu olan hastalarda erektil disfonksiyon görülme sıklığı ve şiddetini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır.Üroloji polikliniğine prematür ejakülasyon yakınması ile başvuran yaşları 24-66 arasında değişen toplam 111 hasta çalışmaya alındı. PE ve ED Türkçeye validite edilmiş prematür ejakülasyon değerlendirme anketi PEDT ve ereksiyon işlevi uluslararası değerlendirme formu IIEF ile değerlendirildi. Çalışma grubunun ortalama yaşı 43,6±11,8 idi; PEDT ve IIEF ortalamaları sırasıyla 12,7±4,3 ve 18,5±5,2 olarak bulundu. PE bulunan 105 hastada %94,6 ED saptandı. PEDT ve IIEF skorları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark bulunmadı p=0,199 . Tüm hastaların %62,2’sinde prostatik infl amasyon bulundu. PEDT grupları arasında prostatik infl amasyon açısından anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmadı p=0,585 . PEDT skorları ve yaş arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmadı p=0,781

Prevalence of Erectile Dysfunction in Men who Present to Urology Outpatient Clinics with the Complaint of Premature Ejaculation

Abstract

Premature ejaculation PE is the most common sexual dysfunction in men and is associated with comorbid conditions, such as diabetes, thyroid disease, prostatitis and erectile dysfunction ED . However, there is controversy concerning the relationship of PE with ED. There is little data on the coexistence of these two pathologies. The aim of this study was to determine the frequency and severity of erectile dysfunction in patients with premature ejaculation.A total of 111 men aged 24–66 years who presented to the urology outpatient clinics with the complaint of premature ejaculation were included in this study. PE and ED were evaluated using the Turkish version of the premature ejaculation diagnostic tool PEDT , and the Turkish version of the International Index of Erectile Function questionnaire IIEF . The mean age of the study group was 43.6±11.8 years, and the mean PEDT and IIEF were 12.7±4.3 and 18.5±5.2 respectively. ED was found in 105 94.6% patients with PE. There was no signifi cant difference between PEDT and IIEF scores p=0.199 . Prostate infl ammation was found in 62.2% of all patients. No signifi cant difference was found between the prostate infl ammation and PEDT groups p=0.585 and no signifi cant association was found between PEDT scores and age p=0.781
