Öz
Dens invaginatus ya da dens in dente, formasyon döneminde diş germinin periferik bölgesinden pulpaya doğru göstermiş olduğu katlanma sonucu oluşan, sebebi tam olarak bilinmeyen gelişimsel bir malformasyondur. Dens invaginatus erken çürük gelişimi, pulpal ve periapikal lezyonlara sebebiyet vermesi açısından önemlidir. Klinik olarak tespit edilebileceği gibi, asemptomatik olarak panoramik radyogramlarda tesadüfi bir bulgu olarak da görülebilir. Bu olgu sunumunda 27 yaşındaki erkek hastada tespit edilen tip III dens invaginatus ve tedavi protokolü değerlendirilmiştir

Öz
Dens invaginatus or dens in dente is a developmental anomaly of unknown cause and is the result of the tooth germ folding from the peripheral zone towards the pulp during the development period. Dens invaginatus is particularly important as it causes early caries in addition to pulpal and periapical lesions.Dens invaginatus detected in a 27-year-old male patient and the treatment protocol are discussed in this case report
