Tur Rehberlerinin Mesleki Yeterliliklerinin Tur Memnuniyeti Üzerindeki Etkisinde Tur Rehberleriyle Uyumun Aracılık Rolü: İstanbul'da Bir Araştırma

Öz

Tur rehberleri, turist deneyimlerini yöneterek, yönlendirerek ve organize ederek ziyaretçiler ile destinasyonlar arasındaki uçurumu kapatmada önemli bir rol oynayan “temsilciler” veya “elçiler” olarak görev yaparlar. Rehberler, destinasyon imajını güçlendirir, sorumlu turizm hedeflerinin uygulanmasına yardımcı olur, turistlere sundukları bilgilerle destinasyonu keyifli hale getirir, yerel kültürü tanıtır, misafirlerin yerel etkinliklere katılmasını sağlar ve daha birçok görevi yerine getirirler. Bu çalışma özellikle tur rehberlerinin farklı rollerine odaklanmaktadır. Çalışma, tur rehberlerinin mesleki yeterliliklerinin tur rehberlerinin performansı ve tur memnuniyeti üzerindeki etkisine turist-tur rehberi uyumunun aracılık etkisini ölçmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmada, tur rehberlerinin mesleki yeterliliklerinin ve tur memnuniyetinin etkisine ziyaretçi-tur rehberi uyumunun aracılık etkisi olduğunu belirlemiştir. Bulgular ve sonuçlar literatürdeki benzer çalışmalarla karşılaştırıp yorumlanmış ve önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

The Mediating Role of Cohesion with Tour Guides in the Effect of Professional Competencies of Tour Guides on Tour Satisfaction: A Study in Istanbul

Öz

Tour guides act as "representatives" or "ambassadors" who play an essential role in bridging the gap between visitors and destinations by managing, guiding, and organizing tourist experiences; enhancing the destination image; helping to implement responsible tourism goals; making the destination enjoyable through what they present and interpret to guests; introducing local culture; enabling guests to participate in local activities; providing information; and many other tasks. This study specifically focuses on the role of tour guides. The study aims to measure the mediating effect of visitor-tour guide coherence on the impact of tour guides' professional competencies on tour guides' performance and tour satisfaction. The research determined the mediating effect of visitor-tour guide rapport on the impact of tour guides' professional competencies and tour satisfaction. We compared and interpreted the findings and results with similar studies in the literature and made recommendations.
