This study aims to determine the moderating role of affective commitment in the effect of Smart Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Algorithms (STARA) awareness on turnover intention. For this purpose, the study sample, which utilized the quantitative research method, consists of 607 junior, middle, and upper-level managers working in the IT sector in Türkiye. The study data were obtained through a questionnaire. SPSS 25.0 and SmartPLS 4.0 package programs were used to analyze the data. When the results obtained from the hypothesis tests are analyzed, it is seen that STARA awareness has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. In addition, affective commitment has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. However, the moderator role of affective commitment in the effect of STARA awareness on turnover intention was insignificant.
