In this study, it was aimed to examine the environmental attitudes and environmental responsible behaviors of gifted students in the fourth grade of primary school according to some demographic variables. The population of this study, in which is designed as a descriptive survey model, consists of 281 fourth grade gifted students who are attending Science and Art Centers (SAC) in eight Province of Turkey in the first term of 2021-2022 academic year. Research’s data were collected through ‘Personal Information Form’, ‘Responsible Behavior toward the Environment Scale’ and ‘Attitude toward the Environment Scale’. Findings of research show that students’ attitudes towards the environment are high level; female students have more positive attitude than male students; students whose mothers are housewives have a higher level of positive attitudes towards the environment than students whose mothers are in other profession; in the low income group have a higher level of positive attitudes towards the environment than students in other income groups. It was found that the frequency of the students’ responsible behaviors towards the environment was ‘I do it frequently’ and high level; female students have more responsible behavior towards environment than male students; students participating in the field trip have more responsible behavior towards the environment than the students who do not. As a result of the research, it was revealed that a moderate positive correlation between students’ attitudes towards the environment and their responsible behavior towards the environment.
