Determination of Customer Requirements for Thermal Accommodation Facility Designs
Öz
This
study aims to determine the customer requirements for the quality improvement of
thermal spa designs in rural Cappadocia. It is necessary for thermal spas (TSs)
to be designed carefully to ensure the provision of a healthy service.
Evaluating the expectations and the level of satisfaction of the customers of
existing facilities and integrating them into the design of new facilities will
improve the quality, both of the facility and the provided services.
Determination of customer requirements (CRs) and adapting them to the design of
facilities, offer a clear indication of the important contributions
architecture can bring to the tourism industry. The sustainable development of
tourism demands the transfer of knowledge and experience to the tourism industry
from many different disciplines related to tourism. Revealing the tourism
potential of rural regions will contribute greatly to the national economy. The
aim in the present study is to investigate a sample area in the rural region of
Cappadocia with the aim of contributing to literature.
