This research is about the meaning of the verbs in Yunus Emre's Divan, which is accepted as the building block in the formation of Turkish culture and the written language of the Turkish language, based on the context. Contextual and concordance meanings of Turkish simple and derived verbs in the Divan are given. In the study, the general scanning model, one of the scanning models, was used. With the scanning model, the verbs in the Divan were recorded and various meanings of the verbs were determined. The studies and dictionaries about the work in question and the fact that the work does not fully reflect the vocabulary point to the importance of the research. However, this research, which is a contextual dictionary experiment, has original. Contextual meanings of 504 verbs recorded from the Divan are given with their reference. Such studies are important for a correct understanding of the works of Yunus Emre, whose ideas, literary personality and works have spread all over the world. In addition, various projects and studies are carried out with Yunus Emre in order to reveal the vocabulary of other historical and literary works in a contextual and witness way. Increasing the number of such studies will make a serious contribution to vocabulary, semantics and lexicology.
