Su Sıcaklığının Balık Yetiştiriciliğine Etkisi

Öz

Sıcaklık tüm canlı organizmaların üzerine olduğu gibi balıkların da tüm yaşamsal
faaliyetlerini etkilemektedir. Ovaryum gelişiminden yumurta gelişimine, bağışıklık sisteminin
çalışmasından, canlı ağırlık kazanımına kadar birçok önemli faaliyet su sıcaklığının
etkisi altında gerçekleşmektedir. Yetiştiricilik açısından sıcaklığın önemi ancak biyolojik
öneminin kavranmasından sonra daha iyi anlaşılır. Yumurta gelişimi için belirlenen en
uygun sıcaklık dizini yavru yetiştiriciliğinde başarıya ulaşmanın neredeyse ilk basamakları-
nı oluşturur. Optimal su sıcaklığının belirlenmesi ile balığın canlı ağırlık kazancının izlenmesi
yemleme protokollerinin hazırlanmasında göz önünde bulundurulan en önemli kavramlar
arasındadır. Termal etkinin altında besin alımı ve sindirim fizyolojisi yetiştiriciliğin
çalışma alanına giren en ilgi çekici konulardandır. Zira yetiştirilen türden türsel özelliklerinin
yanı sıra hangi şartlarda ve protokollerle zorlanarak en üst düzeyde performans elde
edilebileceği yetiştiricilik yarışındaki en önemli argümanlardır.
