التزكية وتدبير الخلاف وأثرهما في وحدة الأمة عند الإمام بديع الزمان سعيد النورسي - The Cleansing of the Heart and Management of Differences According to Bediuzzaman Said Nursi, and Their Role in the Unity of the Ummah

Unity within Islamic communities is imperative by Sharia. Ustad has both profound ideas and important studies on the unity of the Ummah, inspired by the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet. Ustad has understood the reasons for divides between Muslims, and has warned them against hostility and conflicts. He had known the interior and exterior reasons that led to conflicts, and he proposed scholarly, methodological, and educational principles to avoid them. When he had been discussing the six ills that spoiled unity in the Ummah and pushed people to hopelessness, he had specified the features of the Ummah he had envisioned. Nursi pointed that the unity of Muslims was a religious obligation as well as a realistic necessity to prevent the hostility within mankind. This unity depends on virtues such as love, charity, brotherhood, and selflessness, which are rulings of the Sharia and qualify as prayers. They are also an integral part of creation and happiness that require loving love and being against hostility. We see that Nursi connects the unity of Ummah with the cleansing of the heart and disciplining of the soul. According to him, managing differences and destroying political and idealogical pressures are both compulsory to create unity within the Ummah.

إن وحدة الأمة فريضة شرعية، وللأستاذ سعيد النورسي وقفات دقيقة ونظرات
عميقة استخلصها من فيض القرآن الكريم، ومن هدي السنة النبوية الشريفة، كما له
جهود من أجل وحدة الأمة. وهو يعلم الأسباب من وراء التفرقة فينبه على الاختلاف
والعداوة ويحذر منهما، كما عرف أسبابهما الداخلية والخارجية ووضع مسالك علمية

ومنهجية وتربوية للتخلص منهما، وبعدما يتطرق إلى الأمراض الستة التي تنخر وحدة
الأمة وتصيب أفرادها باليأس يضع مخططا لمعالم الأمة الواحدة كما يتصورها، ويشير
بذلك إلى الاتحاد بين جميع المؤمنين باعتباره واجبا شرعيا وضرورة واقعية تمنع
العداوة والحقد في الروح البشرية، وتقوم على المحبة والتعاون والاجتماع والأخوة
التي هي فريضة شرعية وعبادة عظيمة، كما أنها من مقتضيات الفطرة والذوق السليم
اللذان يمليا على الإنسان حب المحبة وبغض العداوة، ونجد النورسي يربط بين وحدة
الأمة وبين التزكية القلبية والتربية الروحية، كما أن تدبير الخلاف ونبذ الاستبداد
السياسي والفكري من شروط وحدة الأمة.
