A new technique in reconstruction of old patellar tendon ruptures

Abstract

Rupture of the patellar tendon is a rarely seen injury and the articles about late reconstruction of this injury are very few. In this article, a Iate case which was reconstructed with a new technique using semitendinosus and a fascia lata flap was presented and in the light of our case and the literature, surgical reconstruction of Iate patellar tendon ruptures was discussed.
