Evaluation of malleoler fractures that were treated surgically

Abstract

48 patients who had freated surgically for malleoler fractures af the Department of Orthopaedics, Faculty of Medicine, Cumhuriyet University, between July 1982 and January 1991 were evaluated. Thirteen patients (77.08%) were male and eleven (92%) were female, with a mean age of 38.2 years. The mean durafion of foliow up was 37.6 months. Those cases in our series were classified according fo both Lauge-Hansen and Weber. Patients were evaluated af final follow up according to objekfive and subjective criteria of Robert's. Eventually enough results were found 91.67% subjectively and 87.50% objectively.
