Öz

The importance of early approaches in treatment of the congenital dislocation of the hip is well known. Closed reduction is a good one of these methods in spite of the risk ot avascular necrosis of the femoral head. In this study the relationship between the avascular necrosis and prereduction position of the femoral head and acetabular index are found significant. 75% of the reduced hips are well developed after a mean folIow-up of 43.2 months.

Öz

Doğuştan kalça çıkığı tedavisinde erken yaklaşımların önemi bilinmektedir. Kapalı redüksiyon avasküler nekroz gelişme riskine rağmen bunlar arasında önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Bu çalışmada redüksiyon öncesi kalçanın pozisyonu ve asetabular indeksin avasküler nekroz ile ilişkisi anlamlı bulunmuştur. Ortalama 43.2 aylık izlem sonrası kapalı redükte edilen kalçaların %75'i iyi gelişmiştir.
