Radyografi yapılırken hamile ve 30 yaşın altındaki kimselerde gerekli korunma yapıldığı takdirde x-ışınlarının diagnostik olarak kullanılması uzmanlar elinde zararsızdır. Çalışanların korunması bu yazının dışındadır. Bugün aylık müsaade edilen doz 60 rem’dir. Buda en iyi olarak iyonizasyon kalemleri ile ölçülebilmektedir.
