Enneagram Mizaç Modeli Temelli Aile Danışmanlığı: Bir Olgu Sunumu

Öz

Bu olgu sunumu, Enneagram Mizaç Modeli’nin aile danışmanlığı sürecinde uygulanmasını, dört kişilik bir ailenin dinamikleri üzerinden incelemektedir. 38 yaşındaki baba (Tip 1), 36 yaşındaki anne (Tip 4), 10 yaşındaki erkek çocuk (Tip 7) ve 7 yaşındaki erkek çocuk (Tip 3), aile içi iletişim sorunları ve duygusal çatışmalar nedeniyle danışmanlık hizmeti almıştır. Enneagram temelli değerlendirme, babanın mükemmeliyetçi ve işkolik tutumlarının, annenin bireyselci ve yoğun duygusal eğilimlerinin, 10 yaşındaki çocuğun maceraperest ve sınırları zorlayıcı davranışlarının ve 7 yaşındaki çocuğun başarı odaklı tutumlarının aile dinamiklerini nasıl etkilediğini ortaya koymuştur. On haftalık danışmanlık süreci sonunda, aile bireylerinin birbirlerinin mizaç özelliklerini anlaması sağlanmış, iletişimde iyileşme gözlenmiş ve aile bağları güçlenmiştir. Bu olgu, Enneagram Mizaç Modeli’nin aile danışmanlığında mizaç temelli çatışmaları çözmedeki potansiyelini vurgulamaktadır.

Enneagram Personality Type-Based Family Counselling: A Case Presentation

Öz

This case study examines the application of the Enneagram personality model in family counselling, focusing on a family of four. The family — consisting of a 38-year-old father (Type 1), a 36-year-old mother (Type 4), a 10-year-old son (Type 7) and a 7-year-old son (Type 3) — sought counselling services due to issues with family communication and emotional conflicts. An Enneagram-based assessment revealed the impact of the father's perfectionist and workaholic tendencies, the mother's individualistic and intense emotional nature, the 10-year-old's adventurous and boundary-pushing behaviour, and the 7-year-old's success-oriented attitude on family dynamics. By the end of the ten-week counselling programme, family members had gained a better understanding of each other's temperament traits, their communication had improved, and their family bonds had strengthened. This case study demonstrates the potential of the Enneagram Temperament Model in family counselling for resolving conflicts based on temperament.
