The Perception of Social Justice in the Field of Mental Health: The Case of England

Öz

This article concerns with social justice concept that has now been a global concern and that something that seems to be moved away. The article mainly focuses on its social and psychological dimensions. In the first part, general definitions in related fields are given and in the latter part how social justice is understood and implemented in psychology and counselling fields have been detailed with research findings with a focus on the British context. The article ends with suggestions as to what should be done in the fields in terms of relevant and necessary competencies that are needed and policies in the long run

Öz

Bu makale küresel anlamda giderek uzaklaşıldığı gözlenen adalet kavramı ile ilgilidir ve konu daha çok sosyal ve psikolojik boyutlarıyla ele alınmıştır. Birinci bölümde farklı disiplinlere göre genel tanımlar verilmiş, ikinci bölümde İngiltere örnekleminden yola çıkarak sosyal adalet kavramının psikoloji ve ruhsal danışmanlık alanlarında nasıl ele alındığı araştırma bulgularıyla incelenmiştir. Makale, bu konu ve alanda yapılması gereken ilgili ve gerekli beceri ve yeterliliklerin ve uzun vadedeki politikaların neler olduklarını vererek sonlanmaktadır
