Happiness is one of the important concepts of positive psychology. Along with the increasing interest in positive psychology since the 1980s, the concept of happiness began to be handled scientifically. Happiness is simply defined as the individual's experiencing more positive emotions than negative emotions and getting satisfaction from his/her life. Having defined the profile of the happy individual for the first time, The purpose of this study is to examine individuals' happiness levels. The study group of the research consisted of a total of 211 people, 115 of whom were female and 96 of whom were male. Oxford Happiness Scale short form and personal information form were used as data collection tools. According to the findings, individuals' happiness levels differ in terms of gender, marital status, socio-economic level, and whether they have children or not. The findings were discussed in light of the literature
