Investigation on Efficiency of the Harvesting Machineries at Artvin Regional Directorate of Forestry

The use of mechanization techniques is very difficult to the extraction of logs because about half of the forests in Turkey are in the mountainous areas. The use of mechanical devices in forestry activities is very small, because of difficult terrain conditions, forestry policy and economic constraints. Machinery used extraction activities such as forestry tractors, skylines and loaders were imported from abroad. The most efficient utilization of these machines is important the implementation of forestry activities in the economic and environmental terms. In this study, it was examined the effectiveness of MB-Trac 800 (1), MB-Trac 900 (2), Urus M III (2), Koller K 300 (3), Gantner (1) and Liebherr 902 (1) using within the production areas of Artvin Regional Directorate of Forestry in 2008 and 2009. Average efficiency of the machines are calculated based on monthly working hours in the year and the amount of products carring. As a result, it has been identified as skiddiers were more efficient at short distances. It was found that the average yield of MB-Trac 900 was more than average yield of MB-Trac 800.

ARTVİN ORMAN BÖLGE MÜDÜRLÜĞÜ’NDEKİ ODUN HAMMADDESİ ÜRETİM ARAÇLARININ VERİM AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESİ

Öz

Türkiye’de ormanların yaklaşık yarısının dağlık alanlarda bulunması kalın çaplı ürünlerin bölmeden çıkarılması çalışmalarının mekanizasyon teknikleriyle yapılmasını zorlaştırmaktadır. Ormancılık faaliyetlerinde mekanik araç kullanımı güç arazi koşulları, ormancılık politikaları ve ekonomik kısıtlar nedeniyle az miktarda söz konusudur. Bu mekanizasyon araçlarından bölmeden çıkarma faaliyetlerinde kullanılanları; orman traktörleri, hava hatları ve yükleyiciler olup yurtdışından ithal edilmişlerdir. Bu mekanik araçlardan en verimli şekilde yararlanılması bölmeden çıkarma faaliyetlerinin ekonomik ve çevresel olarak yürütülmesi bakımından önemlidir. Bu çalışmada, Artvin Orman Bölge Müdürlüğü (AOBM) bünyesindeki odun üretim alanlarında 2008 ve 2009 yıllarında kullanılan MB-Trac 800 (1 adet), MB-Trac 900 (2 adet), Urus M III (2 adet), Koller K 300 (3 adet), Gantner (1 adet) ve Liebherr 902 (1 adet) araçlarının çalışma verimleri incelenmiştir. Araçların yıl içerisindeki aylık çalışma saatleri ve taşıdıkları ürün miktarları baz alınarak ortalama çalışma verimleri hesaplanmıştır. Sonuç olarak; sürütücülerin kısa mesafelerde çok daha verimli oldukları belirlenmiştir. MB-Trac 900’ün ortalama veriminin MB-Trac 800 ortalama veriminden daha fazla olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
