Environmental pollution is a global problem that threatens the life of all living beings. The unexpected increase in economic and social activities has also increased CO2 emissions rapidly. Therefore, the environmental factor is exposed to problem of pollution. According to IEA’s reports, the CO2 emission has totally increased %65 during 1990-2019 period across the world. While in Turkey it has increased %184,58. Thus, per capita CO2 has increased from 2.3 tons to 4.7 tons and Turkey has surpassed the world's per capita CO2 emission level. In this study, by aiming to investigate the environmental impact of technological innovation and renewable energy consumption, which has used as an economic tool to struggle against environmental pollution recentlly, CO2 emission, technological innovation, renewable energy consumption, non-renewable energy consumption, economic growth, trade and foreign direct investment varibles’s annual data have been analyzed by dynamic ARDL simulation. Then, by using the algorithm that developed as an advantage of dynamic ARDL model the effect of a shock in independent variables on dependent variable have been visualized by graphs. As result, technological innovation and non-renewable energy consumption had positive effect on CO2 emission and renewable energy consumption had negative effect on CO2 emission insignificantly.
