This research, designed on fathers who are less visible on social media, was conducted to explore the parenting experiences of fathers using social media through their views on sharing their children's photos and following parenting pages. Phenomenological research design, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. Data were collected through structured interview forms with 31 fathers using social media. When the fathers' thoughts on sharing their children's photos were analyzed, two themes emerged as "digital diary" and "dangerous waters". When fathers' views on parenting pages on social media were analyzed, it was seen that a single theme titled "beyond being a virtual father" emerged. As a result of the research findings, it was recommended to increase the research on being a father in the digital world and to conduct more in-depth studies with fathers who follow parenting pages or have sharenting behavior.
