Olumlu ve Olumsuz Antrenör Davranışlarının Spora Devam Etme Niyetini Yordama Etkisi: Çok Gruplu Yapısal Eşitlik Modellemesi

Öz

Bu çalışmada, olumlu ve olumsuz antrenör davranışlarının sporcuların spora devam etme niyeti üzerindeki etkisi, cinsiyet grupları açısından incelenmiştir. Araştırmaya, bireysel sporlara katılan 490 sporcu (273 kadın, 217 erkek) katılmıştır. Veriler, antrenör davranışları ve spora devam etme niyeti ölçekleri ile toplanmış, hipotezler çok gruplu yapısal eşitlik modeliyle test edilmiştir. Olumlu antrenör davranışlarının, spora devam etme niyeti üzerinde hem kadınlar (β = .315, p < .05) hem de erkekler (β = .259, p < .001) için anlamlı ve pozitif bir etkisi bulunmuştur. Buna karşılık, olumsuz antrenör davranışlarının spora devam etme niyeti üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisi bulunmamıştır (p > .05). Cinsiyete göre yapısal ilişkiler anlamlı fark bulunmamıştır (p > .05). Sonuçlar, destekleyici antrenör davranışlarının spora devamlılığı artırdığını göstermektedir.

The Predictive Effect of Positive and Negative Coaching Behaviors on the Continue to Intention Sports: A Multigroup Structural Equation Modeling Approach

Öz

This study examined the effects of perceived positive and negative coach behaviors on athletes' intentions to continue sport participation across gender groups. The sample consisted of 490 individual-sport athletes (273 females, 217 males). Data were collected through coach behavior and intention to continue sports scales, and hypotheses were tested using multi-group structural equation modeling. Positive coach behaviors had a significant and positive effect on sport continuation intention in both female (β = .315, p < .05) and male (β = .259, p < .001) groups. In contrast, negative coach behaviors did not have a significant effect on continuation intention (p > .05). Structural paths did not significantly differ by gender (p > .05). These findings suggest that supportive coach behaviors enhance athletes' intentions to remain engaged in sport.
