The Russia-Ukraine war was evaluated as an event that affected the international system, brought the new Cold War discourse to the forefront and shook the foundations of Russia-West relations. The war that started on February 24, 2022 led to a series of developments, from European countries reviewing their defense concepts to seeking new security guarantees. The impacts of the Russia-Ukraine war on countries varied according to their geography, their relations with the warring parties, their alliances and their historical experiences. The level of threat that countries perceived from Russia also affected their policies towards the war. At this point, Poland, as one of the countries that perceived the greatest threat from Russia due to historical, geographical and political reasons, became the country that tried to mobilize the world to support Ukraine. It was the most active country at this point, especially within the NATO alliance. This article will analyze Poland's policy towards the Russia-Ukraine war and try to reveal the reasons for this policy.
