Is Strategic Manager Strategic Thinker: Looking for An Answer Within the Context of The Systems Thinking

Abstract

Although the concept of strategy has begun to be used with military terminology, it is possible to bring the history of the concept to the beginning of human life. There are decisions that people take and think, think and implement. Strategy, at this point, can find its place in the framework of the decisions taken and applied by people. Apart from this, there are instinctively decisions that the body system takes or warns people to survive, which are insufficient to fully explain the concept, although they are thought of as strategic movements. Strategic thinking must also be included in the system to form the concept of strategy at this point. Therefore, in this article; within the context of system thinking; strategic thinking ability and the question of whether the relationship between buyers of strategic decisions and strategic thinking should be devised or not has tried to be answered

Stratejik Yönetici Stratejik Düşünür mü: Sistem Yaklaşımı Bağlamında Cevap Arayışı

Öz

Strateji kavramı askeri terminolojiyle kullanılmaya başlanmış olsa da kavramın tarihini insan hayatının başlangıcına kadar götürmek mümkündür. İnsanın düşünmeden ve düşünerek, aldığı ve uyguladığı kararlar vardır. Bu noktada strateji; insanın düşünerek aldığı ve uyguladığı kararlar çerçevesinde kendi yerini bulabilmektedir. Bunun dışında ise hayatta kalabilmek için içgüdüsel olarak vücut sisteminin, aldığı ya da insana uyarımlarla aldırdığı kararlar vardır ki bunlar her ne kadar stratejik hareketler gibi düşünülse de kavramı tam olarak açıklamakta yetersiz kalmaktadır. Bu noktada strateji kavramının oluşabilmesi için stratejik düşüncenin de sistemin içinde yer alması gerekmektedir. Dolayısıyla bu makalede; stratejik düşünme kabiliyetine değinilmiş ve sistem düşüncesi bağlamında stratejik kararların alıcıları ile stratejik düşünme arasındaki ilişki kurgulanmalı mıdır sorunsalına yanıt aranmıştır
