BÖLGESEL YENİLİK SİSTEMLERİNDE İŞLETMELERİN FİNANSMAN KAYNAKLARI: İZMİR BÖLGESEL YENİLİK SİSTEMLERİ ÖRNEĞİ

Öz

Bölgesel Yenilik Sistemleri literatürü özellikle son yirmi yıldır büyük bir ilerleme göstermiştir. Hem akademik çevrede hem de bölgesel politika alanında çok fazla ilgi görmeye başlayan bu özel kavram; belirli bir bölgedeki firmaların, firmalarla ve diğer yeniliği destekleyen kurumlarla karşılıklı etkileşim içinde olduğu, öğrenen bir sistemi ifade etmektedir. Yeniliği finanse etmek amacıyla, yapılan bölgesel politikalar, belirsizlikleri minimize ederek taraflar arasında olabilecek ilişkileri daha iyi bir düzeye çekebilir. Bu bağlamda, bir yenilik sistemi oluştuğunda finans sektörü stratejik bir öneme sahip olmaktadır. İşletmelerin mali destek sağlama alışkanlıkları bir bölgeden diğerine farklılıklar göstermektedir. Mali destek sağlama yöntemleri her bölgenin özelliklerine göre hassasiyetler taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmada, İzmir Bölgesel Yenilik Sistemleri içinde faaliyet gösteren işletmelerle yüz yüze görüşmeler yapılarak ne tür finansman yöntemlerini tercih ettikleri incelenecektir. İşletmelerin daha yenilikçi olmasında hangi finansman tekniğinin daha teşvik edici olduğu ele alınacaktır.
