The aim of this study is to examine the studies conducted in the field of social justice leadership with bibliometric analysis. Analyses were made in line with the determined criteria and the data were visualized using Vosviewer software. According to the results of the analysis based on the WoS citations of the articles examined, it was observed that the studies on social justice leadership started after 2003, and the studies on the subject were especially concentrated between 2017 and 2023. The United States of America ranks first among the countries that produce the most publications on this subject. It was determined that Forde and Torrance were the authors who produced the most articles, received the most citations and had the highest h-index in research on social justice leadership It was concluded that ‘Research in Educational Administration & Leadership’ journal was at the top of the ranking of the most published sources in the database, while ‘Educational Administration Quarterly’ journal was at the top of the ranking of the most cited sources. According to another research result of the study, the concept of ‘Educational-Leadership’ came to the forefront in the center of the most used keywords in the scientific studies published on this subject, followed by the words ‘Schools’, ‘Education’ and ‘Equity’ respectively. In the lower right quadrant of the thematic map formed based on the relevant themes in the publications, it was determined that social justice leadership was in a central position. It is thought that the current study will provide practical implications for future researchers due to the limited number of similar studies in the field. In addition, the findings of this study show that the concept of social justice leadership is an important topic that can be studied using different components and methods in the field of educational sciences.
