Öz

Özet:

Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’nin kuzeybatısında yer alan Çanakkale şehrinin yayılış sahası ile jeomorfolojik kriterler arasındaki ilişki özetlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın amacı, hem sahadaki jeomorfolojik özelliklere dikkat çekmek, hem de Çanakkale şehrinin gelecekteki gelişimi ile ilgili düşünce ve önerilerde bulunmaktır. Çanakkale şehrinin gelişiminde pek çok jeolojik ve jeomorfolojik gerçeğin göz ardı edildiği görülmektedir. Bu yüzden şehrin gelecekteki genişleme sahalarının belirlenmesinde bu kriterlerin dikkate alınması gerekmektedir. 

   

Abstract

In this study, It was aimed to summarise the relations between urban developing and geomorphic processes in Çanakkale, northwestern Turkey. The aim of the study is both to attract attention to geomorphological features of the area and recommend concepts and proposals for the future of Çanakkale. Relating to the future, It is obvious that so many geological and geomorphological reality in Çanakkale are neglected. Therefore, these criterias must be considered in determining the extension areas of the city in the future.
