Öz

Protez kalitesi, proteze uyum sa9lamas&n&etkileyen en önemli faktörlerden biridir. Bu ara t&rma; farkl& iki bölgede ya ayan hasta gruplar& üzerinde g&da seçimi ve çi9nemede zorlan&lan g&dalar& tan&mlamay& ve hasta memnuniyeti ile protez kalitesi aras&ndaki ili kiyi incelemeyi amaçlad&.Ara t&rman&n kapsam&n& Çukurova ve Atatürk Üniversitesi Di Hekimli9i Fakültesine ba vuran toplam 54 tam protez hastas& olu turmad& Hastalar&n protez kalitesi Protezlerin Fonksiyonel De9erlendirme kriterleri, g&da seçimleri ve çi9neme zorluklar& ise Aç&kve Kapal& Sorular kullan&larak de9erlendirildi. Sonuçlar her iki hasta grubunda etin zor çi9nenen bir g&da oldu9unu, ekerlemelerin ve çekirdekleri ile yenilen meyvelerin çi9nemesi çok zor oldu9umemnuniyetin, her iki grupta, alt tam protezin çi9neme kabiliyetinden ya and&9& belirlendi. Ki-Kare analizi sonuçlar& hastalar&n tam protezlerine ait genel memnuniyet düzeylerini; alt tam protezin uyumu, rahatl&9& ve çi9neme kabiliyetinin istatistiksel olarak çok önemli düzeyde etkiledi9ini gösterdi
