Öz
In dental laboratories, the alloy which remains from the first cast is often reused and other restorations are made with the new alloy addition. The repeated process of casting can change the chemical components and and micro-structures of alloys. In this study, the components of framework samples which were made in six different dental laboratories which work with our faculty were evaluated by use of XRF spectroscopy. Duplicated models obtained from the measurement taken from the lower jaw of a partial toothless patient, by having been sent to six different laboratories, framework prothesis was prepared and by XRF spectroscopy current components were determined. Components of prothesis prepared in laboratories when compared to orginal component it has been determined that in all framework prothesis chrome rate has decreased and some elements were lost.

Öz
Protez laboratuvarlarında, ilk dökümden artan alaşımlar sıklıkla yeniden kullanılmakta ve yeni alaşım ilavesi ile başka restorasyonlar oluşturulmaktadır. Tekrarlanan döküm işlemi, alaşımların kimyasal bileşimlerini ve mikro-yapılarını değiştirebilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, fakültemizle çalışmakta olan altı farklı protez laboratuvarında hazırlatılan iskelet örneklerin bileşimleri XRF spektroskopisi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Kısmi dişsiz bir hastanın alt çenesinden alınan ölçüden elde edilen dublikat modeller altı farklı laboratuvara gönderilerek iskelet protezler hazırlatılmış ve XRF spektroskopisi ile mevcut bileşimler belirlenmiştir. Laboratuvarlar tarafından hazırlanan protezlerin bileşimleri orijinal bileşim ile karşılaştırıldığında; bütün iskelet protezlerde krom oranının azaldığı, bazı elementlerin ise kaybolduğu saptanmıştır.
