ATATÜRK ÜNİVERSİTESİ TARIM İŞLETMESİNE ALMANYA'DAN İTHAL EDİLEN VE İŞLETMEDE YETİŞTİRİLEN SARI ALACALARIN BAZI DÖL VERİMİ ÖZELLİKLERİ YÖNÜNDEN KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI

Öz

ÖZET : Bu araştırmada, Almanya'dan Atatürk Üniversitesi Tarım İşletmesine ithal edilen ve bunların yetiştirilmesinden meydana gelen hayvanlar (I. grup) ile işletmede doğan ve bunların aralarında çiftleştirilmesinden meydana gelenlerin (II. grup) bazı döl verimi özellikleri karşılaştırılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; buzağılama aralığı, ilkine buzağılama yaşı, gebelik süresi, normal doğum, ölü doğum, yavru atma ve doğum ağırlığı özelliklerinde I. grup olarak nitelenen hayvanlar daha iyi performans göstermişlerdir. Ancak aradaki farklar, doğum ağırlığı ve ilkine buzağılama yaşı dışında istatistiksel olarak önemli bulunmamıştır (P>0.05).

 

COMPARISON OF SOME REPRODUCTION CHARACTERISTICS OF SIMMENTAL CATTLE THAT WERE IMPORTED FROM GERMANY TO THE FARM OF ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY WITH THEIR OFFSIPRINGS THAT WERE REARED IN THAT FARM.

 

            SUMMARY : In this research work 2 groups of Simmental cattle were compared for some reproduction characters as calving interval, age at first calving, gestation lenght, normal calving, stillbirth, abortion and birth weight.

               The first group was composed of Simmentals which were imported from Germany, and gave their first calves in the farm of Atatürk University. The second group cattle were the off springs of imported cattle, and were reared under the University farm conditions.

               These two groups of cattle were compared in terms of calving interval, age at first calving, gestation lenght, normal calving, stilbirth, abortion and birth weight. Better result were obtained from the first group compared to the second. But the differences were found not to be significant (P>0.05) except for birth weight and age at first calving.
