Sentetik Piretroidlere Genel Bakış

Öz

Zararlılar ile mücadelede yenilikçi, etkili ve çevre dostu yöntemlerin geliştirilmesine karşı duyulan ihtiyaç, artan nüfus ve yetersiz altyapı nedeniyle gün geçtikçe artmaktadır. Günümüzde zararlı mücadelesinde kullanılan en yaygın insektisit gruplarından biri piretroidlerdir. Hızlı etki göstermesi, diğer insektisit gruplarına göre nispeten düşük memeli toksisitesi gibi birçok nedenden ötürü tüm dünyada yaygın olarak tercih edilmektedir. Bu derlemede; piretroidlerin genel özellikleri, kimyasal yapıları, kullanım alanları, etki mekanizmaları ile dikkatsiz ve sık kullanım sonucu ortaya çıkan direnç sorunlarına değinilmiştir. Ayrıca bütün olumlu yönlerine rağmen, piretroidlerin kullanımı sonucu ortaya çıkan ekolojik zararlardan bahsedilmektedir. Piretroidlerin dikkatsizce ve bilinçsizce kullanımı, birçok ekolojik problemi de beraberinde getirmektedir. Doğada biriken bu toksik maddelerin kısa sürede, çevreci ve ekonomik olarak maliyeti düşük bir prosesle ortadan kaldırılması ülkelerin politikası haline gelmiştir. Biyodegredasyon bu alanda alternatif bir çözüm yoludur ve kontamine olmuş bölgelerin iyileştirilmesinde kullanılmaktadır.
