Öz

Millî Mücadele yılları, cephelerde sürdürülen silahlı mücadelenin yanı sıra,canlı bir cemiyet hayatının da yaşandığı bir dönem olmuştur. Bu dönemde ortaya çıkan ilmî, meslekî ve sosyal cemiyetler, yaşanmakta olantoplumsal çöküntünün önüne geçmek ya da belirli meslek çevrelerinin haklarını korumak amacıyla kurulmuştur. Kastamonu’da Millî Mücadele yıllarında Müdafaa-i Hukuk, Hilâl-i Ahmer ve Himaye-i Etfal gibi direk Millî Mücadele’ye destek veren cemiyetlerin yanı sıra Muallimler Cemiyeti, İhtiyat Zabitleri Cemiyeti, Kastamonu İlim Derneği, İçki ile Mücadele Derneği, Cide Evlendirme Cemiyeti, Himaye-i Ahlâk Cemiyeti ve İslâm Kadınları Çalıştırma Yuvası gibi pek çok ilmî, meslekî ve toplumsal cemiyet ve dernek kurulmuştur.Bu çalışmada bu cemiyetlerin kuruluşu ve faaliyetleri üzerine bilgi verilmesi amaçlanmıştır.

Associations Established for the Benefit of the Society in Kastamonu During the National Struggle Years

Öz

The years of the National Struggle were a period in which a lively community life was experienced, as well as the armed struggle on the fronts. The scientific, professional, and social societies that emerged in this period were established to prevent the ongoing social collapse or protect the rights of certain professional circles. During the National Struggle in Kastamonu, besides the associations that directly supported the National Struggle, such as Müdafaa-i Hukuk, Hilâl-i Ahmer, and Himaye-i Etfal; many scientific, professional, and social societies and associations were established, such as the Teacher’s Association, the Provident Officers Association, the Kastamonu Science Association, the Fight Against Alcohol Association, the Cide Marriage Society, the Himaye-i Ahlâk Cemiyeti and the Islamic Women’s Training Home. This study aimed to give information on the establishment and activities of these societies.
