Öz
Bu çalışma, geçmişten günümüze kadar gelebilmiş nadide eserlerin keşfedilmesi, korunması ve bakımlarının yapılması açısından önemli bir eserdir. Kitap incelemeye tabii tuttuğu ahşap camiler ile Sinop’un tarihine ışık tutması, ahşap cami yapımında kullanılan çantı tekniğinin önemine atıfta bulunmakla bu teknik ile yapılmış yapıların farkına varılması açısından, değerli bir eser, incelenecek olan diğer camiler açısından ise önemli bir kaynak teşkil etmektedir
