Öz
İnsan düşüncesinin meyvesi olan dijital toplumun yarattığı sosyal gerçeklik, benzersiz bir işlevsel düzenlilikler sistemi sunmaktadır. Burada geleneksel toplumsal yapı ve bireysel toplumsal kurumlar, alt sistemleriyle birlikte yeni bir karaktere bürünüyor. Yeni sanal alanda oluşan özel toplumsal gerçekliğin araştırılması, yeni bir sosyoloji yöntemleri sisteminin oluşumuna ivme kazandırdı.Dijital sosyolojinin kavramsal temellerine ilişkin ilk çalışma Manuel Castels'in adıyla ilişkilidir. Dijitalleşme, sosyolojik araştırma yöntemlerinin, metodolojilerinin ve araştırma alanlarının yenilenmesiyle karakterize edilir. Dijitalleşmenin getirdiği yeni teknolojiler ve yöntemler sistemi sayesinde bilimin çeşitli alanlarında kapsamlı araştırmalar yapma fırsatlarına ulaşıyoruz.

Öz
The social reality created by the digital society, which is the fruit of human thinking, presents a system of unique functional regularities. Here, the traditional social structure and individual social institutions with its sub-systems take on a new character. The study of the special social reality formed in the new virtual space gave impetus to the formation of a new system of methods of sociology.The initial study of the conceptual foundations of digital sociology is associated with the name of Manuel Castels. Digitization is characterized by the renewal of sociological research methods, methodologies, as well as research spaces. Through the system of new technologies and methods introduced by digitization, we get opportunities to conduct extensive research in various fields of science.
