The Effect of National Societies in the Organisation of the National Struggle

Öz

After the Armistice of Mudros signed on 30 October 1918, the people sought ways to take care of themselves due to the disbandment of the armies and the ineffectiveness of the current administration as a result of the unjust occupations that started throughout the country. As a result, resistance organisations were established all over the country. These associations tried to express the injustice of the occupations through rallies, congresses and declarations; some associations took decisions for armed resistance. In this study, the occupation process after the signing of the Armistice of Mudros and the Turkish Nation's organising activities against the occupations, the establishment of national societies and the contributions of these societies to the organisation of the National Struggle are examined. In the study, scientific articles and studies on the subject were used. As a result of the study, it has been understood that the establishment of National Societies and their activities have made significant contributions to the organisation and conduct of the National Struggle.

Milli Mücadele’nin Örgütlenmesinde Milli Cemiyetlerin Etkisi

30 Ekim 1918’de imzalanan Mondros Mütarekesi sonrası yurt genelinde başlayan haksız işgaller sonucu orduların dağıtılması ve mevcut yönetimin de etkisizliği nedeniyle halk kendi başının çaresine bakmanın yollarını aramıştır. Bunun sonucunda yurdun dört bir yanında direniş cemiyetleri kurulmuştur. Bu cemiyetler mitingler, kongreler ve bildiriler yoluyla işgallerin haksızlığını ifade etmeye çalışmışlar; bazı cemiyetler silahlı direniş yönünde kararlar almışlardır. Bu çalışmada Mondros Mütarekesi’nin imzalanması sonrası işgal süreci ve Türk Milleti’nin işgaller karşısında örgütlenme faaliyetlerinde bulunması, milli cemiyetler kurması ve bu cemiyetlerin Milli Mücadele’nin örgütlenmesine katkıları incelenmiştir. Çalışmada konuyla ilgili bilimsel makale ve çalışmalardan yararlanılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda Milli Cemiyetlerin kurulmalarının ve yaptıkları çalışmaların Milli Mücadele’nin örgütlenmesi ve yürütülmesi açısından önemli ölçüde katkıları olduğu anlaşılmıştır.
