From the History of Publishing Children's Literature in Azerbaijan

The article is devoted to the historical study of the publication of children's literature in Azerbaijan. Among the Azerbaijani enlighteners in the development of children's literature, the important role of A. A. Bakikhanov, M. Sh. Vazeh, M. F. Akhundov, G. B. Zakir, H. B. Zardabi and S. A. Shirvani. It also systematizes information about the initiatives taken in the field of children's literature in the first half of the XIX century, in the second half of the XIX century, about the publication of books, albeit with great difficulty. The researcher also provides extensive information that the increase in the number of printing houses at the beginning of the XX century created favorable conditions for the publication of children's books. The article also provides detailed information about the books written by the intelligentsia of that time in different years, and the printing houses that published them. Keywords:
