Öz

Məqalədə Şəhabəddin Söhrəvərdinin (1155-1191) “Əql-e Sorx” əsərinin həm tərcüməsi, həm də təhlili verilmişdir. Söhrəvərdinin farsdilli irfani risalələri arasında bu əsərin özünəməxsus yeri vardır. Məqalədə əsərin quruluşu, süjet xətti, məzmunu, ideyası, obrazlar sistemi tədqiq olunmuşdur. Bu əsər də Söhrəvərdinin digər irfani əsərləri kimi rəmzi obrazlarla zəngindir. Əsər maraqlı süjet xəttinə malikdir. Əsər özünü şahin obrazında təqdim edən Söhrəvərdi və universal ağıl olan “Qırmızı ağıl”ın söhbətinə həsr olunmuşdur. Burada “Qırmızı ağıl” şahinə dünyanın yeddi qəribəliyi haqqında xəbər verir. Həmin yeddi qəribəlik bunlardır: Qaf dağı, gecəni işıqlandıran gövhər (Ay), Tuba ağacı (Günəş), on iki emalatxana, Davudun zirehi, Bəlarək qılıncı, dirilik suyu.

Translation and Interpretation of Shahabeddin Suhrawardi's ‘Akl-ı Sorkh’

Öz

This article presents both a translation and an analysis of Shahabaddin Suhrawardi's (1155-1191) ‘Aql-e sorkh’. This work has a unique place among Suhrawardi's Sufi treatises written in Persian. In the article, the structure, plot, content, idea and visual system of the work are analysed. This work, like other mystical works of Suhrawardi, is rich in symbolic images. The work has an interesting plot. The work is dedicated to the conversation between Suhrawardi, who presents himself in the form of a falcon, and the universal mind, the ‘Red Mind’. Here the ‘Red Mind’ tells the falcon about the seven wonders of the world. Those seven strange things are: Mount Kaf, the jewel that illuminates the night (the Moon), the Tuba tree (the Sun), the twelve workshops, the armour of David, the sword of Balarak, the water of life.
