Document Flow on the Second Karabakh War as a Contemporary Object of National Book Science and Bibliography

Öz

This study examines the document flow related to the Second Karabakh War as a contemporary object of national book science and bibliography. It provides a comprehensive analysis of the sources, bibliographic and bibliometric characteristics of this document flow, as well as the activities of state institutions, research organizations, and libraries in its compilation and preservation. The role of electronic resources in documenting and disseminating war-related materials is also emphasized. Publications on the war are classified and evaluated from the perspectives of national ideology and scholarly objectivity, while comparisons are drawn with international bibliographic practices. The findings indicate that the document flow of the Second Karabakh War has enriched the theoretical and methodological foundations of national book science and bibliography, contributing to the development of new research directions. The article further presents recommendations for the systematic organization of this documentary corpus, the creation of multilingual bibliographic databases, the long-term preservation of digital resources, and the integration of Azerbaijan’s bibliographic experience into the international scholarly space.
