The Role of Advertising in Library Management

Öz

This study examines the importance of advertising and marketing activities in enabling libraries to reach wider audiences and enhance user engagement within the contemporary information society. Advertising serves as a key instrument for promoting library services, information resources, and institutional initiatives. Within the framework of modern library management, advertising strategies contribute to improving user awareness, strengthening institutional visibility, and supporting the development of reading culture. The integration of digital technologies has increased the effectiveness and flexibility of advertising practices in libraries. In particular, social media platforms, institutional websites, and electronic communication channels have significantly expanded the reach of library advertising activities. Keywords:
