The Archıtecture of Samarkand ın Amır Tımur Perıod

Öz

In this article, the main elements of the architecture and urban development of Amir Timur’s Samarkand, were investigated based on various sources. That majestic buildings and the construction of urban infrastructure were analyzed. In addition, following the announcement of the independence, Uzbek government's preservation and restoration activities for the historical monuments were examined, remaining from Timur and Timurids period.
