Məqalədə Azərbaycanda getmiş müqavimət hərəkatında xarici amilin rolu məsələsi araşdırılılmışdır. Bu zaman Fransa və İngiltərə kimi iri Avropa dövlətlərinin, eləcə də Polşanın bu istiqamətdəki fəaliyyətinə dair yeni faktlar təhlil edilərək, elmi dövriyyəyə daxil edilmişdir. Məqalədə həmçinin Ankara hökumətinin Qafqaz siyasəti və onun yerli xalqların sovet rejiminə qarşı apardığı mübarizəyə dəstəyi problemi də araşdırılmışdır.İlkin qaynaqların təhlili nəticəsində belə bir qənaətə gəlinmişdir ki, Sovet Rusiyasının inqilabın Şərq ölkələrinə ixracı strategiyasında mühüm platsdarm funksiyasına malik Azərbaycan XX əsrin 20-ci illərində iri dövlətlərin Qafqaz siyasətində xüsusi yer tutmuşdur.

Azerbaijan, in the early years of the Soviet power, in the Caucasus policy of the great powers

This article examines the role of external factors in the resistance movement that emerged after the Sovietization of the republic in Azerbaijan. At the same time, new facts regarding the activities of major European countries such as France and Britain, as well as Poland, which provided various support to anti-Soviet forces in the region, were analyzed and circulated. The article also examines the policy of the Ankara government in the Caucasus and its attitude towards the struggle of the Caucasian peoples against the Soviet regime.As a result of the analysis of primary sources, it was concluded that Azerbaijan, an important platform in the strategy of exporting the Soviet Russian revolution to the East, occupied a special place in the Caucasus policy of the great powers in the 1920s.
