Türkiye’de Evlilik Göçünün Mekânsal Veri Analizi Teknikleriyle Değerlendirilmesi

Öz

Türkiye’de sosyo-kültürel nedenlerle yaşam gidişindeki önemli olaylardan birisi evliliktir ve bu olay bireylerin göç davranışını tetiklemektedir. Türkiye’de 1995-2000 dönemi için iller arası toplam göçün %7.4’ü evlilikten kaynaklanmaktadır. Evlilik göçü büyük ölçüde cinsiyete özeldir ve evlilik göçüne katılanların %94’ünü kadınlar oluşturmaktadır.Bu çalışma, Türkiye’de evlilik-göç ilişkisinin mekânsal paternlerine odaklanmıştır. Çalışmada, Türkiye’de dışarıya kadın ve erkek evlilik göçünün 1995-2000 dönemi için coğrafi paternleri, farklı düzeylerde istatistik bölgelere göre analiz edilmektedir. Açıklayıcı Mekânsal Veri Analizi (ESDA) yöntemleri (Moran’s I ve LISA) kullanılarak illerin dışarıya erkek ve kadının göçünde mekânın ne derece etkili olduğu araştırılmaya çalışılmaktadır. Ülkenin kuzey ve merkezi bölgelerinde dışarıya kadın evlilik göçü, batı bölgelerinde ise dışarıya erkek evlilik göçü pozitif mekânsal otokorelasyon göstermektedir

The evaluation of marriage migration using spatial data analysis techniques in Turkey

Öz

In Turkey, for cultural reasons, one of the most important events in the course of life is marriage and it also triggers the migration behavior of the individuals. In the period from 1995 to 2000, 7.4% of total migration in Turkey was marriage-related. Marriage migration is largely gender-specific and women account for 94% of those who migrate for marriage. The present study focused the spatial patterns of marriage-migration relationship in Turkey. In the study the geographical patterns of the women and men marriage migration for the periods of 19952000 according to the different statistical regions are being analyzed. Using the Exploring Spatial Data Analysis (ESDA) methods (Moran’s I and LISA), how the space is effective in women and men marriage migration is attempted to be analyzed. In the central and northern regions of the country, female marriage migration; and in the western regions of the country, male migration shows a positive spatial autocorrelation
