City and Comfort

Öz

The provision of human comfort has been considered as a pioneer in formation of built environments throughout history. Built environments, embodied in the basic human needs are today under the influence of many components (physical, ecological, socio-cultural, perceptual, etc.). Comfort that can be described as a product of expectation, has many stimuluses in terms of environmental factors as well as individual factors. Therefore, the aim of this paper, which is very is difficult to relate to the city, is to answer following questions: How can urban and comfort relation be defined ?, What are the comfort components in the urban environment? and Does the design of the urban environment affect comfort?. Thus, in the study, it was aimed to reveal the relationship between city and comfort in a multi-faceted manner through literature review

Kent ve Konfor

Öz

İnsan konforunun sağlanması düşüncesi, tarih boyunca yapılı çevrelerin biçimlenmesinde öncü etmen olarak ele alınmıştır. İnsan ihtiyaçları temelinde şekillenen yapılı çevreler günümüzde pek çok bileşenin (fiziksel, ekolojik, sosyo-kültürel, algısal vb.) etkisi altındadır. Bir beklenti ürünü olarak da açıklanabilen konfor ise, bireysel etmenlerin yanı sıra çevresel etmenler bakımından da pek çok uyarana sahiptir. Dolayısıyla kent ile ilişkilendirmesi oldukça güç olan bu kavram kapsamında çalışmanın amacı; Kent ve konfor ilişkisi nasıl tanımlanabilir?, Kentsel çevrede konfor bileşenleri nelerdir? ve Kentsel çevrenin tasarımı konforu etkiler mi? sorularına yanıt aramaktır. Böylece literatür bilgisinin incelenmesi ve yorumlanmasını kapsayan çalışmada, kent ve konfor ilişkisi çok yönlü bir şekilde ortaya konması hedeflenmiştir
