Abū al-Yusr al-Bazdawī’s Treatise Zallat al-Qāri: Study and Critical Edition This study offers an analysis and a critical edition of the text of a treatise entitled Zallat alQāri authored by Ṣadr al-Islām Abū’l-Yusr al-Bazdawī (d.493/1100), who was the great Māturidī theologian and Ḥanafī jurist of the 5th century of Hijra. This treatise has been edited for the first time based on three different manuscripts which are preserved in the collections of Esad Efendi and Hacı Mahmud Efendi of Süleymaniye Kütüphanesi, and the collection of Mehmed Asım Bey of Köprülü Kütüphanesi. The work is composed of twenty-five chapters and the content of each chapter is handled in a clear style and with sample verses from the Qur’an. There al-Bazdawī draws attention to the possible recitation errors that the performer of the ṣalāh may make with a view to ensuring that the qirāat of the Qur’an, which is one of the pillars of the ṣalāh, is performed accurately. The author also clarifies whether or not recitation errors would impair the ṣalāh from the perspective of the Ḥanafī school of jurisprudence of which he was a representative in his time. This treatise may thus be viewed as a work of continuous value and importance on the subject

Ebū’l-Yusr el-Bezdevī’nin Ẕelletu’l-Ḳāri Risalesi: İnceleme ve Tahkik

Bu çalışma, Hicrî 5. asırda yaşamış büyük Māturidī kelamcısı ve Ḥanefī fakihi Ṣadru’l-İslām Ebū’l-Yusr el-Bezdevī’nin (ö.493/1100) Zelletu’l-Ḳāri başlıklı risalesinin tenkidli tahkikini ve bu esere dair bir inceleme sunmaktadır. Tahkik edilen eser, Süleymaniye Kütüphanesi Esad Efendi ve Hacı Mahmud Efendi ile Köprülü Kütüphanesi Mehmed Āsım Bey koleksiyonlarındaki üç farklı yazma dikkate alınarak ilk defa tahkik edilmektedir. Zelletu’lḲāri risalesi, yirmi beş bâb başlığını içermekte ve her bir başlık anlaşılır bir üslupla ele alınmaktadır. Müellif, risalesinde namazın rükünlerinden biri olan Kur’an kıraatinin uygun bir şekilde yerine getirilebilmesi için, namaz kılanın düşebileceği muhtemel tilavet hatalarıyla ilgili hususiyetlere dikkat çekmekte ve mezkûr hataların namazı ifsat edip etmeyeceği meselesine kendi döneminde temsilcisi olduğu Hanefî mezhebi çerçevesinde açıklık getirmektedir. El-Bezdevī’nin bu risalesi, bu yönüyle, güncel değeri ve önemi devam eden bir eser olarak görülebilir
