of Islamic Philosophy and its Religious Content. This article analyzes the earliest Muslim philosophers’ reception and conception of history of philosophy and its relation to prophetic traditions. Focusing on the earliest works of Muslim authors on the beginning of philosophy in Greek antiquity and its journey to early Islamic times and lands, the article examines the inner formative forces that caused Muslim thinkers to become interested in Greek philosophy and its leading historical personalities

Mişkât-ı Nübüvvetten Hikmetin Beş Sütununa: İslam Felsefe Tarihinin Mâhiyeti ve Dinî Muhtevası Üzerine

Öz

Bu makale erken dönem İslam felsefe tarihi metinleri temelinde, bu felsefî geleneğin teşekkül devri filozoflarının felsefe tarihi tevarus ve tasavvurlarını tahlil etmektedir. Bu hususta Batılı ilmî muhitlerce ortaya konan çalışmalar üzerinde durarak İslam felsefesinin mahiyeti, temel hususiyetleri ve tarihi unsurları hakkında değerlendirmelerde bulunmaktadır. Makale bu mevzu hakkındaki eserlerde ihmal edilegelen Ŧabaķât literatürüne araştırmacıların dikkatini çekerek bu ilmî malzemenin insanlık tefekkür tarihine getirebileceği zenginlik ve açılımlardan bahsetmektedir
