Because of the increasing number of transportation options and decreasing prices, traveling is easier than it has ever been. These developments generate new chances for students both for traveling home and exploring the world. Consequently, understanding student travel behavior is important for companies and researchers. This study specifically aims to determine university students’ travel mode choices and its relations with socio-economic factors in Turkey. Results show that there are significant differences among travel mode choices of students according to gender, age, income, owning an automobile, the place that they live and kind of university they study
